Fungal Molecular Systematics
Fungal Culture
Soil fungi present a treasure trove of new and exciting organisms and the possibile discovery of new antibiotics, anti-cancer drugs, or other health-related biomolecules. Our mission is to sequence DNA from samples in Prof. Martha Christensen's soil microfungal collection and organize the fungal strains within the fungal family tree.
