Text Box: Guidelines Concept must graphically reflect the five major areas of "green" design: Water Energy Building Materials Recycling Native Plants Please represent each "green" design area with a symbol (ie. a water droplet for the Water design)   Concept must be flexible enough to be portrayed in small or large sizes. Deadline: May 30, 2008, 5:00pm Text Box: We are looking for a logo that will be used throughout the new Science & Technology Building to highlight the sustainability features of the S-building (currently under construction). The S-building is LEED-(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified ö a national benchmark for "green" design, operation and construction. Submissions will be accepted from all BCC students, faculty and staff. The winning submission will receive a "Green Prize Package" valued at over $100 and recognition in S-building promotional material.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    Contest winner must be available during the summer
    (in person, by phone, or by e-mail) to help finalize the               
    design concept.  
    
    *This contest is open to individual artists, as well as groups
      or art collaboratives.*
