The First Annual BCC Earth Week - April 2000
Earth Week did not have it's own web site in 2000, but for archival purposes we have included a brief outline of our humble activities that year- based on a flyer, Rob found in his files.

Monday, April 24 - Volunteer Sign Up Day!

Tuesday, April 25 - Recycling Awareness Day (Take a recycling poll and win prizes in the cafeteria)

Lecture: The Birds and the Beans by Martha Groom, UW Bothell (11:30 AM in B104)

Wednesday, April 26 - Alternative Transportation Day (Carpool, bike, or walk to school and win prizes, including Cougar Mountain Cookies, gift certificates to Value Village and recycled glass hearts)

Thursday, April 27 - Earth Awareness (I have no idea what we did - displays in the cafeteria maybe?)

Friday, April 28 - Native Plant Restoration (Work party on campus)

Earth Day Everyday
In order to succeed we must first believe that we can!

Sponsored by Science Club, Phi Theta Kappa and ASBCC

BCC Earth Week is organized by the BCC Student Science Association. For more information contact Rob Viens in the BCC Science Division at rviens@bcc.ctc.edu or (425) 564-3158.
