Eat Unique!
This year the BCC Cafeteria will be participating in Earth Week with a number of different activities. Please show your support for these activities - if the Earth Week offerings are popular, these items will become regular fare in the cafeteria!
- The cafeteria will
offer an organic entree and soup every day of the week. In addition,
the salad bar will contain several organic options.
Daily Soups:
Red Curry Vegetable
Carrot Ginger with Couscous
Golden Curried Lentil
Tuscan Country Vegetable
Daily Entrées:
Tuesday - Organic Rice with our entrée
Wednesday - Free range chicken with organic potatoes and carrots
Thursday - Organic Penne Pasta with vegetarian sausage crumbles, organic marinara sauce
- The Jump Start Java Cart
in the parking garage will carry organic coffee (espresso and
drip) for the week (and indefinitely, if there is a demand for it).
- Venders from different organic and natural food distributors will be on hand from 11:00-1:00 to distribute free samples of organic and natural food products. Let us know if you like them and they will become regular items in the cafeteria.
Participating Vendors:
- Monday - Naked Juice
- Tuesday - Peace Organic Wild Berry Cereal
- Wednesday - Columbia Gorge Juices, Real Mex Burritos, & Wildwood Organic Soy Yogurts and Smoothies
- Thursday - Oregon Chai
