Eat Unique!

The BCC Food Services will be participating in Earth Week again this year with a number of different activities. Please show your support for these activities - if the Earth Week offerings are popular, these items will become regular fare in the cafeteria. (Some of them already are!) More information will be posted as it becomes available.

  • The cafeteria will offer an organic foods throughout the week including:

Organic Vegetables (entrée sides and salad bar) including:
broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, watermelon, spinach, mushrooms, green peppers, red peppers
(The cafeteria plans to carry many of these organic vegetables throughout the year when they are in season!)

    Organic, Free-Range Chicken Entrées

    Wild Salmon
(Offered throughout the year when in season!)

Misty River Organic (Black Angus) Hamburgers
    from Vashon Island
(Available throughout the year at the cafeteria grill. Currently available.)
  • Stop by the Café every day for organic cinnamon rolls and organic apple wheat danish.
  • The Jump Start Java Cart in the N-Building still offers organic coffee (espresso and drip). This started during last year's Earth Week celebration!

Thanks to Todd Juvrud, BCC's New Food Service Director, for his support of Earth Week and his commitment to a healthy and organic cafeteria!
